A very large high-quality new-build build Charles Yorke kitchen in Cobham finished to our exacting handpainted standards
-
The signature of superb quality
This enormous kitchen in Cobham, Surrey is the genuine article and the best that money can buy. The customer obviously wanted the finest of handpainted finishes to match the build quality
-
Preparation is key
We painstakingly mask and cover every surface and remove the doors and drawer fronts before handpainting in the horizontal position to ensure a perfect flat neat finish
-
Not a drop shall pass
We spend an inordinate amount of time ensuring the floors and walls are protected from any spatter, spills, or brush strokes. Attention to detail is our mantra
-
Appliance covers and kickboards
No part of the kitchen escapes our eagle eyes. We remove every surface for horizontal handpainting, which ensures an immaculate finish which will last for years
-
Very classy and practical
The depth and richness of this Everal Aqua paint from Tikkurila is a firm favourite of ours. It complements the equivalent Purbeck Stone from Farrow & Ball superbly
-
Light, but not white
The equivalent of Farrow & Ball Purbeck Stone is shown to great effect here. It is important to offset the island and lower unit colours in a kitchen of this size
-
Restful,regal blue
The customer chose this highly rich, sophisticated blue from Tikkurila, called Everal Aqua. It is dark and practical but does not soak up light
-
U-shaped seating built into the island
You know a kitchen is bespoke and original when Charles Yorke build the eating area actually into the island! We have never seen this before.
