Hand-Painted Kitchen in Guildford
We were asked to transform this dated and rather tired kitchen in Guildford from the original wood colour into a more modern, fresh space. Over the course of two weeks we thoroughly prepared the surfaces before undercoating and top coating by hand painting the main units in Benjamin Moore ‘Penthouse’ and the island in the Tikkurila equivalent of Little Green ‘Obsidian Green’. The customer chose new handles from Hafele to complete the modernisation. We think you will agree that this Guildford kitchen is now unrecognizable!
“Nicola and Sandra were amazing, highly professional and we couldn’t have been happier with the end product. The finish was top class and the whole process very effective. They were on-site for 2 weeks and ensured it was all tidy at the end of each day so we could keep using the kitchen. I would highly recommend Larsen Paint Finishes and we couldn’t be happier with the way the kitchen looks after their work”
A remarkable old kitchen transformation through expert hand-painting

From this.......
The owners of this dark solid wood kitchen in Guildford did not want the expense and upheaval of replacing it. After meeting for a consultation we agreed on colours and booked a two-week slot to complete the transformation by our expert hand-painting.

To this.
One of our more remarkable hand-painted kitchen transformations! The space is now contemporary and light, reversing the dark wood tones of the main units and darkening the island. We changed the handles and the owners put in lovely new lights over the island.

Contemprary practical colour and a lighter marble work surface
The island has become a feature, with its new Obsidian Green paint being both modern and practical. The owners replaced the dark marble work surface with a beautiful lighter one and added new handles to complete the transformation

Clean, fresh and modern to define the appliances
The new off-white kitchen unit paint allows the fridge, ovens, and handles to breathe. It is always amazing to see what a relatively simple re-jigging of kitchen elements can achieve in 2 weeks and with minimal upheaval!
